Meet Pastor Mike Mashburn

 Pastor Mike attended The Baptist College of Florida and New Orleans Seminary. He has served in ministry since 1986 in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Indiana as well as the North American Mission Board as Church Planter strategist. He has been Senior Pastor at GBC since February 2017. He was born and raised in Pensacola, Fl and was saved and baptized at his home church, Heights Baptist. About GBC Pastor Mike says, "This is the most unique church I have ever had the privilege to be Pastor of. While we aren't a large church, the commitment to serving needs in the community, leading others to Jesus, and having a strong unity of the fellowship is amazing. The genuine love for each other and warm welcome to our guests is tremendous."

Hi, I'm Crysta, my family and I moved here in July of 2020 from Wisconsin. My husband and I have been together for 14 years as of 2021, married for 9 of those years. We have two daughters, 8 and 12 as of 2021. As a family we enjoy going to the beach (of course), watching Forged in Fire and spending time together. Moving to a brand new state during the COVID-19 pandemic was honestly probably the best time to make such a huge change, it gave us time to adjust to life in Florida. We miss our friends and family, and plan to visit as often as possible. God has a plan for all of us and there is a reason for EVERYTHING.
